Rockstar Games says a new installment to the 'Grand Theft Auto' franchise is in the works. With the game approaching its ninth anniversary and the phenomenal success of the game, the timing of the gesture appeared like the studio is ready to say goodbye to the title and set to embark on a new project, that is, probably "GTA 6." Aside from this, Rockstar Games also made a controversial announcement for "Red Dead Redemption 2" in July. We want to acknowledge and thank everyone who has contributed to these games, from their original launch in 2013 all the way through to the present day," the full-page thank you message read. "Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online represent the combined efforts of our global team over many years.

Rockstar Games posted the full credits of "Grand Theft Auto 5" on the game's official website alongside a thank you message to people who have been a part of the project since its launch, which for some fans, could be the studio's way of saying goodbye.
Rockstar Games, the studio behind the upcoming title "Grand Theft Auto 6" or "GTA 6," is seemingly suggesting that the highly anticipated franchise iteration could be a huge one, based on the recent changes it made to its phenomenal titles "GTA 5" and "Red Dead Redemption 2."
